The RSIL Law Review is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal. Each submitted manuscript is assessed by the RSIL Law Review Editorial Team. Shortlisted manuscripts are anonymised and submitted to two independent peer reviewers who are experts in their respective fields.
Reviewers are asked to comment on the quality of the research, the soundness of the manuscript’s legal analysis, the manuscript’s contribution to existing academia and the overall writing style. Reviewers are asked to determine whether a manuscript should be published with either minimal or considerable edits, or whether it should be rejected. Each reviewer’s comments are sent back to the author(s) to incorporate into their manuscript.
If, in exceptional circumstances, the revised manuscript does not adequately incorporate the changes recommended by the reviewers, and the Editors are of the opinion that the paper does not conform to the Law Review’s standards, the manuscript may be rejected after the peer review process as well.
